The Dutch Dragons are racing this 2025 Dragon Boat Season.
Join us for a fun season of training and racing with the Dutch Dragons. Open to Dutch and not so Dutch, sporty and not so sporty with a great team! We offer 12 training sessions and at least 2 main races. Of course you will get a cool orange team race jersey!
The Dutch Dragons train from 5 to 6 pm on Saturdays, followed by drinks at Bubbles & Wines, our race sponsor!
Spectators are always welcome to cheer us on and join for a drink after trainings to celebrate the weekend.
We train for the Stanley Warm-Up Race (3rd May) and the famous Stanley Internationals (31th May). Both races are fantastic events, plenty of races, a fun day on the beach including the famous Bubbles & Wines cool box at our marquee to celebrate our, no doubt, amazing team and achievements.

- Trainings & Races^ schedule (TBC by coach Monique): Saturdays and the occasional weekday or Sunday in March, April and May.
- Wear sports gear (you might get wet), water shoes are optional, sun screen, a hat. Bring a bottle of water, a towel and dry clothes for after. Public change rooms and showers are nearby.
- Bubbles & Wines is the official Dutch Dragons main sponsor. On training and race days, they generously offer the team 15% discount on food items, all day HH prices, at $50 on house wine, prosecco, beer and G&T, by the glass. There is no service charge (a tip is welcome :-).
- Membership of the Dutch Association is not required. However, we offer an optional SUPER DUPER COMBO DEAL to join both the team AND the Netherlands Association.
