The annual bitterballen workshop, edition 2025! Learn how to make these little yummy snacks in the 2nd workshop of the Series 'Dutch Cooking with Chef Armand'

The traditional bitterballen are small fried balls of ragout usually served with mustard and french fries. The history of bitterballen is unclear, but some sources suggest that they were invented in the 17th century by the wife of an Amsterdam pub owner, who adapted the Spanish dish of croquettes and paired them with beer and jenever.
